Cosmetic Bonding
Bonding is the hand sculpting of a specialized type of white filling material to build up or re-shape natural teeth. At The Harman Clinic we can now match the natural shade, translucency and texture of your teeth. Cosmetic Bonding is most suitable for smaller changes such as closing gaps, smoothing out chips and hiding small areas of discolouration. Dr Oliver Harman has studied with Didier Dietchi in Geneva who ranks amongst the world's top 3 cosmetic tooth filling experts. 
This is great way to explore cosmetic dentistry, as it is often reversible and relatively low cost. It is easy to modify cosmetic bonding to ensure they are happy with the look and feel of their new smile before committing to a more expensive long-lasting treatment plan.

Is Cosmetic Bonding right for you?
This process is reversible and drill free - similar to having false nails attached. Bonding can give a beautiful natural appearance provided your natural underlying teeth are a good colour.
This is often used as a minimal treatment in combination with tooth whitening. Bonding is suitable for light and medium strength bites (not heavy grinders). This is not suitable for patients prone to tooth staining. Bonding is cheaper than crowns, veneers and orthodontics but not suitable for masking severely discoloured teeth.
