Dental Bridges
The art of the dental bridge is to create the illusion that the missing tooth emerges from the gum just like a natural tooth. Unlike a denture it is fixed, not removable.
Traditional Fixed Bridge
When you have one or more missing teeth, then a traditional fixed dental bridge may be used to restore the resultant gaps. In simple terms this is a line of beautifully crafted ceramic crowns and/or replacement teeth joined together to fill the gap, and is supported by adjacent teeth or implants.
Bonded Dental Bridges
Some times it is possible to bond a permanent replacement tooth to one or more adjacent teeth using a metal or ceramic bracket. This has the advantage of leaving the adjacent teeth largely intact. This technique is also used for transitional tooth replacement prior to an implant crown replacement. At The Harman Dental Clinic we are able to produce outstanding results with bridges in combination with the Waterlase laser, which is used to painlessly sculpt the gums.
